What is the Registration Fund?
All SRSplus Partners must first establish a Registration Fund before registering domain names. The Registration Fund is a prepayment account from which we will debit the wholesale price of domain names registered by you and your customers. An initial minimum deposit amount of US$250 is required to activate your account. There is no minimum balance required
Do I need to establish a Registration Fund before I get started?
Yes. You must first establish a Registration Fund before you will be allowed to begin registering domain names.
How do I submit payment to the Registration Fund?
We accept various forms of payment, including credit card, wire transfers and checks, when you make a deposit to your Registration Fund. Online credit card payments made through our Partner Manager are credited to your Registration Fund immediately. See How to Make Deposits to Your Registration Fund for details.
How long does it take for payments to be posted to the Registration Fund?
Online credit card payments made through our Partner Manager are credited to your Registration Fund immediately.
Wire transfer remittances are usually applied to your Registration Fund within one business day of receipt. To ensure that your wire transfer is applied to the appropriate account, we ask that upon making a deposit via wire transfer that you please send a confirmation e-mail to partners@srsplus.com. The e-mail should contain 1) e-mail address on account, (2) company name, (3) date of the wire, (4) originating bank and (5) amount of the transfer.
Certified checks and International Money Orders will be applied to your Registration Fund within two (2) business days of receipt. Checks may take up to fourteen (14) days to be credited to your Registration Fund once payment has been received.
NOTE: You must include the e-mail address of your Partner account with all forms of payment not made online.
How much should I deposit to my Registration Fund?
There is no minimum deposit once you have submitted the initial US$250, however, we highly recommend that you deposit enough to cover at least one full month of domain name registrations and associated services added by your customers to avoid any interruption of your registration capabilities.
How will I get charged for each domain name and associated services I register through SRSplus?
For each domain name and associated service you register, your Registration Fund will be debited the applicable price. If you do not have enough funds to cover your registration fees, you will not be allowed to register additional domain names. See also How to Make Deposits to Your Registration Fund.
How will I know when the Registration Fund balance is close to being depleted?
SRSplus will send an e-mail notification to you when your Registration Fund balance falls below US$100 and when it falls to US$50. If the value of the services your are seeking to have debited against your Registration Fund exceeds the amount in the Registration Fund, you will not be allowed to register, renew, or transfer any more domain names until your Registration Fund has been replenished. See also How to Make Deposits to Your Registration Fund.
Can deposits to my Registration Fund automatically charged to my credit card when my funds are low or depleted?
Yes, you can choose to have your Registration Fund automatically replenished with an amount you choose when your balance falls to a limit determined by you. Just set it up in your “Account Summary” by clicking on “Set Up Auto-Replenish”. When the limit you pre-set is reached, your credit card on record will be charged and your Registration Fund replenished with the amount you designate.
What can I charge my customers for the registration of domain names?
You select the fees. SRSplus plays no role in setting our Partners' prices to end users.
Can I receive credit for a registration or other fee transaction error?
By registering or renewing a domain name or adding additional services, you are accepting responsibility for full payment of the registration charges. Transactions may not be canceled and no refunds are offered, so please be careful when registering domain names.
You may choose to delete domain names from your account through Partner Manager. Two notes of caution when using this feature: deletes cannot be canceled in our system and no refunds or credits will be given if you choose to delete a new registration or renewal.
How can I check to see how many domain name registrations my company has transmitted and how much money remains in my Registration Fund?
As an SRSplus Partner, you will have access to our Partner Manager, an on-line administration tool that allows you to view your Registration Fund balance and your current domain name registrations.
Can SRSplus Partners renew domain name registrations once the initial registration term is up?
Yes. Renewal pricing will be the same as your pricing for new registrations.
How much will I be charged for registrar transfers?
All registrar transfers are priced at the base price of the domain name regsitration because of the costs associated with facilitating registrar transfers.
Will I be charged for change of registrant requests (i.e., registrant changes and WHOIS information updates)?
No. While you are free to charge a service fee for such change of registrant requests to your customers, SRSplus does not charge a fee for such services to our Partners.
Can SRSplus Partners register domain names for more than one (1) year?
Yes, SRSplus Partners can allow their customers to register and prepay for domain names for a registration period between one (1) and ten (10) years. For restrictions on registration terms, please see Domain Name Pricing and Terms.
